It features a queen-size bed in the bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the living room, a full kitchen with everything you need to cook, and a 1.5 bath for added convenience. The apartment also includes its own laundry area, making it ideal for extended stays or those looking for a separate space while still enjoying the amenities of the main house. It has its own entrance but is connected to the main house (also listed) by a hallway and double doors with locked from each side to ensure privacy and safety.

**Important:** To maintain the property's high standards, our third-party insurance provider, Truvi, will initiate a verification process post-booking. You will be offered two options for damage protection: a $35 damage waiver fee for up to $500 of accidental damage, or a $15 fee plus a $500 refundable deposit. This verification process must be completed, and the damage insurance settled before your arrival.

Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere on the property. As the neighbors are quite nearby, we kindly ask that you keep the volume of outdoor activities to a reasonable level. Do not obstruct the circular driveway; there is ample parking space for two vehicles in front of the apartment. For those with pets, we provide a vacuum with a pet attachment to help remove any pet hair from the floors and furniture.

Neighborhood

The town of Onancock is peaceful and moves at a slower pace. The people are trusting and friendly. There are sidewalks all the way to the waterfront at the wharf, where you can rent kayaks, bikes, or enjoy waterside dining. It is a wonderful town to go for a walk with your furry friend or a loved one!

Guest access

The apartment has its own entrance with a smart lock, so there's no need to worry about keys. If you’re renting the main house as well, a connecting hallway with double locked doors provides privacy and sound insulation between the spaces.

This was our second stay at Steve's and it was just as last time. We love how close and walkable this apartment is to everything in downtown Onancock. Easy check in and a quiet neighborhood. Steve is a very responsive and great host. This is the perfect little apartment for a weekend getaway.

Neat spot in a cute town. We took a leisurely drive home from Long Island after our daughter’s internship ended. Town is walkable and quiet and felt safe to walk home after a great meal at The Charlotte restaurant, also recommended. Booked at the last minute as we made our way down the east coast. Steve was responsive and made it very easy to get in and out on our short stay in Onancock. Can’t wait to see what he does with the main house and will consider going back for a longer stay in order to explore the bay.

Find us

There is a sidewalk that you can take all the way to the waterfront at the Wharf, which is .8 miles away, and to many shops and restaurants even closer. There are bikes and kayaks for rent at the Wharf, as well as a ferry to Tangier island. There are also many great day trips such as catching a glimpse of the swimming ponies at the Assateague Island National Seashore, enjoying the beauty of Kiptopeke State Park, or swimming at Cape Charles Beach, all within a short 45-60 minute drive.
